Default Heat

Soes anyone who lives in the warm climate areas keep their lower fairings on all year? Vented or non vented?

Left my non-vented RG lowers on all last summer, Chicago area. Never got that hot very often and when it did I just got my feet out on the footpegs to cool off. Lot nicer with them on all in all in all. Get footpegs if you do leave them on.

Vented on 08UC stay on all the time. I don't think that the difference is worth the trouble.

I live in the desert and took mine off 3 years ago. Never got around to putting them back on.

I live in South Texas. When I had lowers I also had quick removable hardware and I took them off every summer.

I only take them off when doing repairs or adding more chrome !!!
Went south for 10 days last year with no problems !!!

Summer months in central Calif. get 100+ degrees. I take my lowers off in the summer months to get more air on the motor.

I have the vented and live in NM, never had 'em off.
