backfire on start up
Im posting this for a friend of mine at work,figured maybe someone could help him out seeing how much help and info ive gotten for myself here.He has a 2005 carbarated road king.It has reinheart true duels,and SE aircleaner kit.Hes never had any problems until now.There is 50k miles on the bike and this spring he decided to have the new cam tentioner kit installed at the dealer.He also had them install new cams,one step up from stock.Ever since then when he shuts the bike off and lets it sit for a while,than goes to restart it the bike will backfire on start up.He says other than that the bike runs great.Hes tried rejetting the carb but that didnt help.The dealer told him that sometimes that just happens when they change cams and cant explain why.Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this problem,he would greatly appriecate any possable solutions to try and correct this.
