After way too much guessing, second guessing, searching, researching and re-researching I decided to go with GMR (107 kit, TW7H cams). I looked at most other kits but found Steve to be reachable, which is a good thing when you send off a chunk of cash. He also answered all my questions and was helpful in deciding which way to go. Very down to earth and knowledgable, I think I'll be more than happy with the kit
You did the right thing, going with a reputable builder and what he recommends.
i am running the s&s106 kit with the s&s cnc heads and 583 easy-start cams. has been tuned and will post dyno sheets later

UPDATE
Well, finally with help from some "adult supervision" got the kit installed, map loaded and fired up. Incorporated a few things I learned here (thanks Dalton & Phil M for sharing wisdom)and Steve @ GMR was there to answer any questions I had; if he didn't pick up the phone, I got a call back in short order. Great guy to deal with. Outside of a few start ups to check for leaks and alarming noises, seating the rings will get done in the morning and then it's time to get down to Doc's for a tune. I will say that it finally sounds like there's a motor in my bike! If it runs half as strong as it sounds, I'm a happy guy.
