I had one on my X. Was comfortable at first but then that wore off. They also are not waterproof so if your bike is outside you need to cover the seat if it's raining.

I'd recommend having Bad-X remod the stock seat as he does an awesome job from all I have read.

It’s not that they are not water proof it’s that Ultimate realizes that no stitched seam is water proof so they will sell you a cover made of a Frogg Togg material that I have found to be very functional. I’ve covered my saddle several times when it looked like rain and when I got out of the ice cream parlor where I waited out the shower I pulled the cover off and had a dry seat for the ride home.

They are very comfortable and it is the only seat I have found that my wile will sit on for more than 50 miles. I have a two piece seat and I think it looks good as a solo seat. They do most of the bike shows (they have a store in Daytona0 and offer a liberal return policy so if you don’t like it you are only out the shipping.

The bad news for me is that because of a coronary catheterization procedure I now require a custom saddle with a very narrow front so I have an Ultimate seat in like new condition that I would sell at a substantial discount. It would fit any bike that takes a 2008 touring seat.

I had always heard good things about the Ultimate and had a friend who swore by his on a Heritage. Bought the setup for my Streetglide and it was not at all comfortable. I kept it for about a week and put close to 500 miles on it and it got worse instead of better, pressure points in all the wrong places. The Corbin Hollywood I had on my last bike was more comfortable. Wife liked it but she was only on it for about 40 miles and she likes the roadglide seat for that long. Nice part is they give you 2 weeks to try it out and if you don't like it, return it. Don't know anyone else that does that.
