Ok so I find this little amp on ebay that says, in the title, 500W and it is the smallest amp I have ever seen. In the picture you can see it says 150 Watts on the amp but thats still not so bad considering the price. So I thought what the heck and I buy it. Well it gets here and I go to install it. A week or so ago I put some 180W max Sony Xplod 3-way speakers in the bike and they sound great compared to the stock speakers. So I get the amp hooked up and man speakers are way louder without the amp. LOL there is no way this puts out 75W x 2 Ch RMS like it claims. Speakers sound like crap with amp and kick butt with just the stereo. Now I am sure that with the bike just on ACC with a battery tender hooked up should be enuf to run the amp, I really don't think the amp would sound any better with bike running and it putting 14.4V to the amp like it says it needs. If thats so then I want one that will work on ACC too. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up not to buy any of this junk. Here is a link to it on ebay (there are several different amps made like this) http://cgi.ebay.com/500W-Mini-Stereo...item3ef58aa800
Guess I shoulda known you get what you pay for. Now anyone got a good 2 Ch amp they want to get rid of?
HAHAHA.. sorry but hate to say it you deserve it buying from HONG KONG
says right in the ad..RMS power ( 4 ohms ) 2 X 18W since its from hong kong devide that in 2 and maybe your getting 9 watts.
SUPPORT AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! edit I ain't sorry and I do not hate to say it. ya deserved it
Yeh I know, its crazy but I said what the heck and took a chance. had a gut feeling it would suck but not that much. Thought about contacting the seller and telling him about it but I'll probably just keep it laying around for some other project maybe. Would probably work good for a mp3 player and small 10watt speakers. Would also make a good paper weight. LMAO
Whats funny it the ad says one this but the paperwork says RMS 75W x 2 Ch. I think 9watt per channel is about right tho.

I will have to say leo hit it right on the head...no pun intended. Ok yes it was Ride safe...
$18 for the amp on Ebay. Hmmm. Guess you should have done some research on amps before figuring out the hard way that you aren't getting a decent amp for $18
Keep an eye on the for sale forums here. Every once in a while, somebody unloads a ARC 125.2 mini or a biketronics amp....both are very good amps, and will be what you are looking for.
