Super easy. You just need to split the switch housings in half by removing the 2 screws in the switch housing and by loosening the brake and clutch perches. Open the switch housings and the grips slide off. If you have the OEM grips on, then you'll probably need to use a razor blade to split the left side, as it is glued on.
When getting new grips, be sure to get ones made for the 08+ touring models.
Go to motor accessories section at HD's website. Put in the year and model of your bike. Then select hand controls and find a set of normal unheated grips. Once you have selected a particular grip you are able to download the the instruction sheet for installing.
This should give you everything you need to replace your grips.
