I have searched every thread on here, and every type of handlebar I could find and the ones I think would be the best for me is FLANDERS. Just trying to find out if anyone of you guys on here have tried them. I really need some feedback.

I have personally never heard of Flanders bars. I am very happy with the HD Heritage Style bars I installed.

I searched for custom handlebars and came up with Flanders as one of the finds. They make a RG style bar with 16" of pull back that look sick. I have the Heritage style bars and they still don't have enough pull back for me. I have looked at several apes but they have even less pull back than what I have now,so it seems to me that I would have to pull them down quite a bit to get them close enough. Here is the link, check out the G2 RG bars.

Thumbs up Who is Flanders?

Flanders has been bending handlebars for Harleys since 1945. They still do it by hand in jigs at their shop in LA. Paul and John Flanders, sons of the founder, still run the company. Paul has been a friend of mine from Dual Sport for years. Here is some info about this old time company.

Thanks for the info Marc, they have a set of G2 RG bars that really look sweet. I am considering them for my bike except they are only 1" and I was hoping to get some 1-1/4" stepped bars. Do you know anyone running their bars right now? It would really be helpful to see some pics.

It would really be helpful if any Roadies out there could post some pics of what they are running right now.
Thanks Guys

Those black pipes look great!

I am also seriously looking for bars before my Daytona trip from Dallas. I can't stomach riding like a hunchback for 1,100 miles and back.

Can I ask a favor? Can you center the bars and measure
  1. the distance from top of the the ignition switch straight across (not along the bar) to the end of either grip, and
  2. the distance between the end of both grips
I really want to get the bars right the first time and your look good. I can compare your measurement to mine and see the true difference.

No biggy if you don't have the time.

Thanks in advance.

I do like those bars,I am just wondering about the wrist angle. Others have said that they are like holding a wheel barrow.
I am wondering if some baby apes might have a flatter wrist angle?
