Yes I cut and gutted it myself. I actually tigged it back together, but no reason not to mig. I just marked a couple of lines on it and then tacked it. Then hung it on the bike to make sure it was straight. I cut it in the middle so it was easier to drill the holes to start the saw. Most of it's coverd by the heat shield. The second one I did was even faster.
