Default S&S Cams

If S&S dyno charts are any true indication, their 583 Easy Start cam has an awesome torque curve...

What catches my eye is the 583. It does have a slight dip from about 98>95ft-lb at 3500rpm but it also shows 90+ft-lb TQ from about 1700-5000rpm. That would appear to be a nice line of torque ??

I couldn't find a dyno on it but I just installed the S&S 510. I am very happy.

I disagree, take a look at this chart comparing STOCK cams to WoodsTW6-6 cams in a stock 96" with the Fuel Moto package and you will see that even the stock cams are very decent compared to a lot of guys charts with "upgraded" cams....... just saying.

Goes to show that there is much more than just cams to consider when looking at a bikes performance.

If those dyno sheets are the best they got...I don't want one.

Both of those starters have to be close to melting.Another year with those cams should tell the story.I'm certain they will work out.
