Of course, but sometimes an old thread can be rehashed. Do you still feel the same way about your Ohlins as you did 2 years ago?
BTW Howard will be building my set shortly.
Oh yes! We live in the UK and have travelled around Europe to distant lands like Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, crossed the Alps and Vosges Mountains. It's the only way to travel!
What we have found is that the bike does not bottom out. In addition the ride is so much smoother, that for long days in the saddle we are more relaxed and comfortable at the end of the day. So not only is the ride quality better, a side affect is we can spend longer each day in the saddle.
With our previous shocks we found we were increasingly tired and uncomfortable towards the end of a two week tour of around 2,500 miles. We now feel after two weeks that we can carry on and are currently planning a 5-6 week 5/6,000 mile tour.
I'm new to the forum, I've searched this thread completely and see that many of you trust this Howard person, but I was unable to find contact information for Howard. I've also done a google search with no luck, next I'll look to other threads for his contact info, but if anyone has the info handy, I'd like to look into the Ohlins.

Well done! I understand Howard is at Daytona this week, so give him time to get home. Well worth calling him. Bear in mind that he also offers JRI shocks now, as well as Ohlins, so the options are many!
