I have been using it for over 1 month... it is great! I love being able to hear stereo music straight from my Zumo 660 over bluetooth... the features are all amazing... i did not tray the bike to bike range of 1mile yet as all my buddies have the q2, but it works well with the q2.
if you have any particular questions, shoot...
How does the sound quality for music compare to HK audio system?
Do you get any degredation of sound quality for music when using Bluetooth vs wired?
I have an Iphone which, I believe, supports AVRCP, which this device also supports. Have you tried this?? It would be great as using the iphone with bike gloves is a PITA
I havent noticed degradation of sound when using Bluetooth... but you have to make sure you pair it correctly as you can by mistake pair it without having the A2dp feature which will give you crap sound quality.
I havent tried the iphone... I have a Zumo 660 and a blackberry (paired with the 660)... excellent quality of sound, I have no issues.
I was in at the dealer this morning looking at the G4. The guy in the shop has one and raves about it but....
Warning all you Iphone users out there. I was never aware of this but the Iphone will NOT stream it's Ipod music over Bluetooth!! Apparently there is a firmware upgrade on it's way for the Iphone, but who knows when??
My pursuit of the ultimate wireless integrated single device goes on hold for a while...
There is apparently a workaround but it seems really cumbersome
well, i found my ultimate wireless integration by having the Cardo Scala G4, a Zumo 660 and any mobile phone with bluetooth...
My mobile is connected to the zumo, my g4 is also connected to the zumo,,, all my music is on the zumo and everything works great for me.
I did not follow the pairing procedure that Cardo has in their manual... I connected the zumo to the cardo as a mobile in order to benefit from the A2DP bluetooth stereo...
Anyway, it all works great with me, had lots of teething problems but sorted them out myself...
