Thanx for the reply.Wondering what they'll be doing in the late fall though?Bought my V ROD then and got 1500 off the MSRP.The stealers say the V ROD is a different deal and their price just went down on that model. The V ROD is the MOST EXPENSIVE model to produce though, go figure.

V Rod is also the slowest selling bike in the line. The '06 models are really getting discounted because of the smaller gas tanks and less wide tires than the '07 models.

Economics 101.
Not at the dealerships around here. The V rods sell real well. The closest dealer is actually locating 06 rods cause the 240 is robbin some performance.I think the topic was the prices of 07's.IMO
Hmmmmm. They don't exactly line-up to buy 'em here. I'm not a big fan of the wide tire fad........I'd guess it would certainly affect handling, especially when that fat ol' thing gets some miles on it and gets a bit "square". I did ride both models for grins.....neither one was comfortable for me.....ergonomics sucked. Liked the responsive throttle and the power, though.
Each to his own.....................
Gonna be orderin a King in the fall.Is anybody getting quotes below MSRP?Seems like all the stealers aren't budging!!!Thanx,Chris
Until the '06 models are cleared out, there's no incentive for a dealer to sell an '07 below MSRP. And given the upgrades for the touring line, I would be surprised to see any discounts on the baggers for the foreseeable future. I felt fortunate to get my '07 at MSRP because my dealer (Harley of North Texas) had just gotten in a buttload of '06s from another dealer and they are trying to get those moved out ASAP.
The good news is that it seems like most dealers are dealing on '06 models pretty aggressively now.
Getting an 07 Ultra Thursday at retail and the dealer is throwing in the 103ci upgrade at no charge. I'm checking on the price difference on the 110 ci and may pay the difference and go 110ci. Gonna ride the 96ci for awhile until he gets all the info on the kits.
