I agree! Some dealers are giving pretty good incentives for '06 models, and even giving discounts if you upgrade to the 6-speed tranny. I don't think the prices for '07 models will be below MSRP. It's their cash cow and they're bringing it home!

You may find an 06 under MSRP...but if you want an 07 I think your gonna have to pay it.
You can find 06's with 2-3k off MSRP but as far as I know and heard everyone is charging MSRP for 07's.
You may be able to dicker over prep fees. I've seen them range anywhere from $250 - 500.
Prep fees are a scam anyway.
I was at the dealer yesterday when my SERK arrived. They let me open the box and unwrap the plastic. The only thing that had to be put on the bike was the windshield and back rests. They also give is a bath before it leaves. By the looks of it I think they owe me $250 for doing half the prep myself.
Local prices here for the less popular 06 models is 2-3k off MSRP. 07's are MSRP or higher. Fees of anything over $250 are a big ripoff. Don't pay them.
If you talk to a lot of dealers some will deal but they like to pre sell, I told my dealer what I wanted, gave a 1k deposit and am waiting for 2 months but my 07 roadglide will come in under msrp. He wavied the frt fee (335.00), no upcharge for pearl paint (425.00) And no I won't mention who he is till I ride it off, don't want to jinx it, but its in writing and I have my copy You will have a much harder time buying what he has on hand and getting much of a discount, but remember winter is on its way, deals will be easier to get.
