My wife and I go every year, usually the fall one. 4 or 5 yrs now? Would love to do both in the same year sometime! It is getting bigger, but not excessively so. We always have fun.
Their website says 3 nights is $299.93. What kind of deal or discount are you getting?
Go to the main web-site and sign up for the Value Club (its free) that'll get you a discount card, it save you $13 per night. http://www.americasbestvalueinn.com/
I also made my reservation in September (2009), thus I got "locked in" at those rates. I've stayed there in the past, its a nice/clean hotel and every room has an oceanview.
this is a nice place for the $$$ I'll be staying here also
My son was stationed @ Tyndall AFB and I visited him in October 2008 and stayed there; it was my 1st time in that part of Florida and I really enjoyed it. One thing I noticed was that it seemed like the only people that went there were from GA of Alabama. Not many northerners like myself.
My wife & I will be leaving Philadelphia on April 26th for the ride down; I think that I am going to try to avoid I95 (beyond SC) & I10. Especially since we have 3 full days before the rally starts. Any scenic routes through GA? Avoiding Atlanta?
we went about 7 years ago, wasnt that big then, we are thinking about going again.there was only a handful of venders sread out .im sure its better now.
you can get it for about 80 per night -- which is pretty good to be directly on the beach

I found some really low prices at the American Quality Lodge at 4810 W Highway 98 (850) 784-6000. It's not beach front but saves me some serious money. I think I'm paying $43.
