i stayed at st andrews last year...it is a cool place and not far from all the happenings right on the bay

From the rest of the posts here, I guess I'm the only one who thought Thunder Beach was just maybe "ok" at best. I was with a good group of friends so I had a good time but the rally events and vendors weren't great. Also, I saw the two absolute worst wet t-shirt contests ever...so lame.
Don't get me wrong, any weekend with friends at a rally, big or small, is a good time but I've got no plans to do Thunder Beach again any time soon, andI only live 3 hours away.

We stay across the street from sharkys at the orgins, its clean and cheap $100 a night on bookit.com...and nice to be able to walk to a beer (bar)
