once you decide you are going to order some hoses make sure gas tank is empty.
may wish to have some extra clips on hand just in case.
purchase some cheap internal external retaining clip pliers from napa or auto part(less than $10).
place some small rags near throttle body and about the primary area for over spill..
may need to remove the 3 bolts holding tank and lift the tank with a tennis ball or rag under the front to give you a little room to work.
There is a kit from harley..Small bag of o-rings sold for the items in throttle body area..o-rings for injectors, and various connections in that area..good time to replace those.
I have an 09 FLHT. I dont think I have a leak. After riding I park it in the garage, close it and come out a short time later to cover it, and it stinks of gas. What up?

You were right... 0-rings aren't the problem and you can't take the fittings apart. Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet and order the kits. Problem is, I can make both leak by wiggling them. That'll cost me about $360.00 in parts alone.
Might want to look at the vent line coming off the fuel tank. Is it pinched or pulled loose from the tank?
Does it cough out the carb while riding? Is your air filter saturated with fuel?
Does your oil smell like fuel? Seen issues there too. Certainly hope that ain't the case.
.
Hey Ed. Thanks for the advice, but you must not have looked at the picture I posted that shows exactly where the leak is coming from. BTW, I don't have a carb, it's fuel injected.
One more thing... I like your bike!

Wow. I looked at too many threads today, not clear why I thought you had a carb. LOL I swore I read that, but obviously scrolling back didn't find where you said it. He he! I really should pay better attention.
I'm glad you isolated where the leak was. Too bad the cost is so high, but there is still a nice feeling knowing that you nailed the problem. I hate chasing stuff with money, only to find out the problem still exists.
and this is link to J & P cycle--look at fitment--these look like just like the harley ones but
with the braided cover..make sure you have the cheap tool to remove the c-clip at the throttle body that holds the hose..that little clip will fly and vanish..it is very inexpensive about $1 or $2 http://www.jpcycles.com/product/400-630
consider looking at the ones in the J and P cycle catalog..see the link above
much much cheaper
I didn't realize that this price was for BOTH lines! Thanks for the link, im. I just ordered the item (along with a primary gasket... mine is leaking) and signed up for the gold membership... I still need to rig this bike up for 2 up riding for my wife and will take advantage of the gold member savings.
Do NOT forget the rags for throttle body area.
The "RETAINING CLIPS" on throttle body that hold the lines FLY really really good and disappear..Put bright rags around that area.
Let us know how it works out.
