I have the black housing and chrome switches and like the look of it. But that is how the bike was when I bought it. I plan on changing the black housing out some day to the chrome.
Chrome switch covers with black housings on my bike. At the time I wanted to dress things up and this was the more affordable way to do it. I still like it.
I've had it both ways (actually three ways) and I prefer the "Chrome Housings with Black Buttons".
07 Fat Boy was "Chrome Housings with Black Buttons". (Best looking and quite expensive)
08 Street Glide was "Black Housings with Chrome Buttons". (the cheap *** buttons kept sticking [didn't fit well] and could not read them)
09 Street Glide is "Black on Black". (because I went with Black Handle Bars) (I still like the "Chrome Housings with Black Buttons" the best)
