I went the other way. With the chrome houseing covers and the black buttons. I brought a set of chrome buttons, but they are still in the drawer waiting for me to change my mind.
I had black housings with chrome switches. Had chrome housings put on this winter. I prefer chrome housings with black switches. The chrome swithces are harder to read. I think once I get my bike back in spring I will try to get the black switches I am missing and go back to black.

I've always had no problem knowing which switch does what. Who needs to read 'em??
Chrome with chrome on mine, but I like the mix on the Anniversary Editions.
If I had an Anny bike I'd keep the black housings and add the chrome caps.
Swapping out the housings is just way too much hassle. I did mine, just ask me.
just completed the black bars, with the black housing, but installed chrome buttons. I really like it. My biggest issue is that the volume, intercom, or all the lower buttons fit really loose.
I have the iso grips and bought the crome buttons but have not put them on yet , had not made up my mind yet , glad this question came up cause I like the crome buttons on the black covers with the iso grips , will put them on soon
