Default Loading a Map with SEST

I bought the SE Super Tuner and cables and I also have a map I want to put on my bike. My intention is to load the map before I start up my bike and break it in (doing a 95" build with cams). Will I be able to figure out how to do this or do I also need to buy the DVD? I plan on having the bike professionally tuned and only want to put the map the builder provided me into the ECM. Does anybody have instructions on how to do this?

Thanks.

You should be able to read the help files and flash without a problem. The SEST seems to be dummy proof with built in safeguards. Just make sure your battery is fully charged, read the instructions, make sure ignition AND handlebar switch are ON then flash. You probably need SOME computer skills to be able to put the map you have into the correct folder and then find it with the SEST program when you're ready to flash.

Awesome, thanks. I am good with computers and can figure most things out but just wasn't sure on user friendly the SEST software was.
