So who went from a 6 1/2 " klock werks windshield and went to a 8 1/2" klock werks windshield ???
Was it or is it better .. looks , air , ????
Can you post a few pics ,,,
I was looking at the 6 1/2 " then seen they came out with a 8 1/2 " version .
Like everyone else . I want it to help air fow but dont want it to loomk to gody looking ???
Also tint or smoke ,,
I want it dark but still able to see thru it ...
Must have came out late for most of us to try out ??
I see dan11809 installed a Longride 7 1/4 windshield on his bike .
Looks real good , and he says its a lot better ..
I have the 8 1/2 inch shield on my Ultra. Went to it from a 4 inch Harley shield. Much better than the four inch. I have the lighter tint and wish that it was darker but got it for a song, so I'll live with the light tint. Really like the shield, helps with air "pocket". Never had the 6 1/2 so have nothing to compare it with.
I have the 6.5 and interested on responses as well. I love the 6.5 and I have dark smoke. I can see through it if I have too, but I look over it and it has not been an issue and I am 5'10.
I just put one on the bike last weekend. Snow/salt has kept the bike at home though. I had a taller version 10.5" and this is quite a bit shorter than that.
Sorry for the bad pic.
