For some reason I've recently had several people PM me about my mini-compressor. I've recently decided to put that one back in the truck and go with this one. As you can see in the demensions, it's compact enough to carry on the bike and has a gauge as well as a 90 degree chuck/fitting. I've used these plugged into the Ultra cig lighter with no issues. But if I am at home I'll usually just pull the bike over next to the truck and plug into the truck 12v socket.
I carry a cheapie one that I picked up Wal-Mart but I like the looks of both of those better, especially that little Slime one. Looks perfect for a bike.

I have one like it (only black). Works great! Even have used it to fill up my
truck tires occasionally when I don't feel like getting out the compressor, etc. Of course, it takes a long time for a truck tire, but...it does work.
The problem with mine is the guage needle bounces alot while running and hard to tell what pressure it is actually reading, so I use a tire guage to check.
Heres another option great unit and you can purchase the inline gauge as well. Also will connect up to the SAE connection where you battery tender connects.
+1 on the Slime Compressor...I got the kit that include a bottlle of Slime.
+1 Slime Compressor/bottle of Slime. It takes up very little space in the saddlebags.
It saved me a long walk to the nearest phone when I had a rear tire go flat & no cell reception.
