I will have 32 in June, I may leave any time, have 49% of my five highest years salary for retirement plus SS.

Congrats dude!! I can roll out in 5 more and I certainly plan to. Tired of the BS and the furloughs and salary cuts ain't helping. Gonna find me a nice "fishin' boat captain" job and just relax.

Nothing personal, but you freakin SUCK! I have a year plus on you and I still cant retire for 3 years and 9 months (but who's counting...). Friggin 25 year retirement.

Really, good on you and congrats. Must be a good feeling to go to work knowing you can tell em to stuff it at any time.

You are right... I had no idea that there was this many either! I am currently the rank of Sgt, have been for 5 years, and supervise a platoon of 6...

Congrats! I'm working on my 10th year and my father retired a few years ago with 38yrs.

I'm a Sgt with 6 guys as well. Off today and tomorrow, this past weekend sucked.
