Default tranny fluid leaking??

I changed to redline heavy shockproof a few weeks ago and now I'm seeing some pink fluid leaking on the side of the tranny not from the drain or fill plugs. I thought maybe to full but I checked the level and cold it's right between the add/fill lines. Any idea's? I know if I bring it to the dealer they will blame it on the Non Harley fluid!!

Is it coming out of the side cover at the clutch cable? Could be a bad o-ring in there, or even a bad gasket on that cover.

I had a issue after a few weeks from a service, exhaust brace on the right hand side just below the clutch cable cover, the bolts had backed out some, tightened these up and the leak went away. Looked as if it was coming from everywhere initially. Bolts are 1/4 inch allen and a bear to get a wrench into.

If the situation is what I am thinking you can cut the short side of the allen wrench. Done that before.

You guys were right on target....both bolts for the exhaust bracket through the tranny were finger loose. Cut an allen wrench and was able to tighten them only cussing a litlle and some minor injury to my hands. Going to take her out tomorrow and see if the leak is gone. Thanks for your help as always.

I was a heavy equipment wrench for two decades, a cutoff 1/4 allen has been in the toolbox for years, good to know your problem wasn't so big, the leak on mine stopped completely after tightening.
