I replaced the clutch cable and unclogged the transmission vent tube and still got a ton of fluid up the cable. I added one quart of trans fluid when i filled it back up. Any thoughts?
I have seen where the new cable is installed without the insulating braided shield at the tranny end and the cable came in contact with the bottom of motor and melted the vinyl causing it to leak.
It could be a leak between the cable end and the cable housing. If its dry around where the cable end with the oring meets the trans cover, than thats where your leak is coming from.
I have an 07 and it has basically seeped since it was new.
