...... by day 3 of a run to the left coast w/that set-up I'd be wishing there was more room for stuff that was really necessary in what would certainly be my left bag ...... and the GF would'a been bangin' on my helmet for a day already for takin' up her space in the TP for sound-power.
..... i'm sure it sounds great in a line-up, ..... but out on the long-road, there are other needs.
yes it was something i put together in a hour or two.
I will soon enclose the amps so there out of sight.
im running two amp's
JL amp puts out 150 watts per channel clean
then a 800 watt amp for the 9x11 sub
and focal speakers
no problem with charging so far.
i will post some pictures when its complete.
two things hold me back from a set up like that,
First, I'm a cheap ba$turd!
Second, as said before, I've been on some long trips and never seem to have enough room for the crap I get along the way. Reducing that space would not help the cause.
Takes away the whole idea of having a bagger doesnt it? Im sure it sounds great in the parking lot, id bet those low frequencies all but disapear once the bike is rolling and the wind is howling - no way would you hear it over any loud pipe either.
Im fine with the amp in the fairing and room in my bags.
yup you cant hear the bass at all when riding, but whats a stereo without a sub and the tweets make the difference.
looks like i might work with some fiberglass today and see what i can come up with for a cover.for the amps and newly added ham radio
