Missing link here about 20,000 miles ago. Slight vibrations on the floorboards but my wife likes it. go figure. LOL

Very worth the better handling for me.

I have the Bagger Brace and can't say that I noticed any more vibration. The bike handles better than before so I'm well pleased. I'd do it again.

Smile vibration

Progressive Link here.
Noticed the improved handling from ride one. To be honest i barely noticed any vibration after the install - it is minimal to say the least. The interesting thing is though, I then installed the harley Goodies floorboard extensions and the vibration is now non-existant. There is no viable explanation for this other than that was the only other change I made after the Link install - go figure.
Anyway bottom line is for $150 THE Progressive has been worth every penny.

My True-Track kit hasn't increase vibration, been riding with it for two years. IMHO the additional stabilizer link should be the same length as the existing stock links, otherwise the motion in the new one will not be the same as the stock ones. A shorter new link, for example, is likely to cause problems of some sort.

Anyone add one of these links to the new 2009-10 bikes? Does any of the mfgs claim there is still a 3rd link missing with these bikes? Anyone had a high speed wobble from a 2009-10 bike yet?
Just curious,
Bob

I'm seriously thinking about installing one but dont want any extra vibes.
This is a good question, as looking at how these devices are made and how they attach to the bike you'd think some added vibration would be certain. They are resisting engine damping in a lateral direction by imposing a solid link to suppress it, and doing that should increase vibration at least when stress is imposed laterally.

I have the Ride-Str8 (similar in design to the Progressive, TWR, etc.) and can say that I noticed no increase in vibration after it was installed, although some small and unnoticeable increase may be present.

There is one stabilizer that has been reported to increase vibration, which is the Alloy Art TXR. It uses a complex array of three heim joints and it would seem that vibrations would get through more with this device than others. I haven't heard anyone mention this one in quite a while.

I am looking hard at the Glide Pro system. It seems to make a lot of sense. Beefier, longer swingarm pivot shaft, revised isolator mounts using the increased leverage from the longer shaft to reduce swingarm deflection.
