I also had that wobble they checked the neck races they found bad rim casting is off from factory this should be a recall i have met so many with the same issue just look at the front tire and see how many weights they used on your rim that will tell you right off
i have a question for you do you have tranny lash and when shifting or riding and you let off gas and back on does it sound like someone is hitting with a hammer and motor sounds like theres no oil in it

Nope, never had an issue even remotely similar...Sounds like a fuel injection issue, or is it possible that your lugging the gears? If you shift at the points recommended in the owner's manual, that will happen to you. I was just at my dealer and heard this same conversation with another guy who swore he was shifting at the manual's recommended points. For example, the manual says to shift from 4-5 at 45mph...The tech said that was 10-15mph too soon. How many miles on your ride? If it's a fuel injector issue you may want to get that done before you hit 1,000 miles...Most dealers will start charging you for "adjustments" after 1,000 miles...Lemme know what it turns out to be...
Mine 08 road glide had the same issue, found it when i took one hand off the bars to adjust my mirror, thought I was going to drop the bike. Took it to the dealer and the rode it and checked the head bearing's, the mechanic said they were really loose. Tightened them up, and now it's smooth as silk. And they did this with 13k on the bike, no charge.
What does it prove if you can let go of the handlebars?? Nothing, unless the damn bike makes a beeline for the ditch. I think you are just setting yourself up for disappointment when you start all these crazy experiments. As long as it rides OK when you are holding the handlebars, what is to be gained by letting go? I respectfully recommend that you listen less to all the "outhouse engineers" and spend more time riding.

I think you're missing the point...If my hands are on the bars and I don"t notice the wobble, does that mean there's nothing wrong, or that I just can't feel it? There's a service bulletin about this from HD...If THEY know it's real, should you FIX it, or IGNORE IT AND JUST RIDE? Yeah, it took me taking my hands off the bars to know it was there, but once I knew, I wasn't going to just "forget it and ride"...Capisce?

The bike shouldn't wobble when you take both hands off the bars. That doesn't mean you should ride no hands. It's just a simple way of determining if there is a problem.
When driving with both hands you can keep your automobile in a lane. When you remove both hands the auto darts to the right. Think you do or don't have an alignment problem that needs fixing??? Or should you keep driving with both hands and tell yourself you don't have a problem?

I have that loud bang when i hit or let off the gas. Louder in the higher gears. Haven't figured it out yet
I had a reaction at 40mph with my 07 roadglide since day one=just taking one hand off the bars it would shake-checked everything but it still persisted-so I lived with it.Then at 20,000 miles I needed a new front tire=after replacing the tire problem solved !
