Ever consider buying a REPO?

Hey guys, I'm coming over from the Dyna side. Just got rid of my '05 FXD in favor of a '06 FLHX. I got a killer deal on it from a bank.... yeah it's a repo'd bike. Obviously the main benefit of buying a repo is the price. A disadvantage would be lack of maintenance history. You might think some fella that couldn't make payments may not have done maintenance either. But then again, it's a cruel world, jobs can be lost suddenly and the toys would be first the go. Just maybe I got someone's pride & joy? If you're out there dude, I can empathise with whatever circumstances caused your dismay, and I'm honored to take care of your once beloved.

My 08 UC was a repo. Before I bought it, I gave the VIN# to the Service manager at my local Dealer. He told me who bought it and everything that had been done. Also any recalls showed up.
