Not defending anyone but sometimes it's the chromers who take forever to do their job. Some of the chrome shops and the people who work in them are sketchy at best.
This is the exact reason I didn't order PYO. They look great and all, but the wait and the extra $$$ is not worth it. I ordered my Cyclesmiths on a Friday and had the bars on the following Saturday West Coast to East Coast delivery.
Edit: I also talked to the Yaffe guys at the Columbus EasyRiders show a few weeks ago, I was told at least a 6 week wait when I inquired about them
Edit 2: When I said on, I meant they were ON the bike

ordered mine from Zanotti, who gets them through custom chrome, I was originally told that I would have them the 2nd week of Feb. I still dont have them and I talked to Zanotti today and they said that they were told that Custom Chrome would have them Friday and then they would ship to Zanotti who would then ship to me. I ordered the standard height of 13in. But apparently standard doesnt mean anything, I"m begining to get upset, but as others have said they are worth the wait and after all it is 20deg and snow here in Chicago, so I guess I'm in no hurry! Hopefully I will get them soon!
I had mine quickly. I got mine from Shooter on here. Bike is in winter storage but I did get to sit on it and it was comfortable. Cant wait to ride it.
Good things come to those who wait. I too was a bit anxious to get mine, they ended up taking about 5-6 weeks but worth the wait. I had problems wiring mine and sent them back for them to wire. I would give their customer service a 10/10 A++++. This just my experience and Im sure have other opioions. Cant say enough good about PYO. Talk to Kevin at PYO is you want results.
I don't see what the big deal is in having to wait a while in order to get the bars. I ordered a set afew weeks ago but I'm not worried as I know they will get here and that they take time to make. I understand that they have to make close to 800 sets in order to be caught up and hey guys that's going to take time as they are a very popular.
Take your time Paul as I'd like a quality product!
