I had issues with not getting my PY race levers. I emailed Paul and told him its holding my bike up. He never got the order. He called the dealer and got things straight. Thats good customer service in my book. ?I have had great service from him in the past as well
Hey Eric, post some pictures when you done will ya? Those levers with the bars will look awesome! Cant wait to see them! Almost riding time for us buddy.... Ukes is right around the corner!
So it took YOU 3 months to look into it, too?
And why is Paul "having someone look into it"?
Seems Paul should look into his affairs himself.
I get updates from Paul every other week. These were supposed to ship three weeks ago. I talked with him about a week and a half ago and they supposedly just got back from chrome.
I agree he should be looking into himself. When he tells me he'll have someone look into it it usually takes 3-4 days for an answer.
ps, there are 2 bike shops locally here that have them in stock!!... they are hanging on the wall, lol... PM me and I will give you their info, maybe you can call them and order by phone if you want those bars bad enough, you can have them in 3 days.

Skullsinc. has been very helpful as far as trying to get an answer from yaffe about my bars. I do think this is an obscene amount of time to be waiting on these. And IMO, if they keep pushing off the delivery date, I would have to be under the impression that Paul is pushing "others" (maybe bigger better customers) ahead in the line. There is no reason that someone who ordered bars as long ago as I did should still be waiting and getting his pud pulled by Paul telling me "if I dont like it cancel". Why are people like Drag specialties getting orderd in before anyone else? because they are a bigger customer?
Porkchop, I think I may look into that if I dont get these bars by this week. UNfortunately, If i dont have them in hand by Wednesday (my dyno appt is thursday) I will have to cancel and go another route. I cant keep changing my tune appt. JDs is very busy and in high demand this time of year. Cant keep screwin them cause Yaffe keeps screwin me.
can I give you some advice? Before you cancel you call Yaffe directly... no offense to the indy you are using, but I thought I had a good thing going to, and waited in excess of three months, finally I called Yaffe directly and ask him, and believe me I was no where near polite I was pissed that I had been waiting for 3 months for a set of bars, I thought that was crazy, and Paul took the time to explain what the problem was and that problem was that Custom Chrome owed him money and he wasnt sending any product to them. Although Yaffe wouldnt sell me the bars for what I had previously ordered them for due to contracts with retailers he did share the price of what he sells them for to his dealers and what the retail price is which is roughly 100 bucks difference! Before you cancel call him directly, he is (from my experiance) very cooland easy to deal with!
Good luck!
I did call paul yaffee directly...got on the phone with whoever is in charge of sales, I dont know if it was paul or not, but the guy had the biggest Douche bag attitude I have ever heard. would not tell me if my indy had any bars going out to him, and told me "just wait for your bars and you'll be happy when you finally get them"...prob true, but not a very good attitude. i just dont understand what the issue is. My promised delivery date has come and gone 4 times already. I better have these bars this week is all I have to say, or I will have to get something else.
