I traded in my 08' Roadglide almost a year ago. Today the salesman called and said he had it sold but could not find the keys. I think he lost them and he will have to *** up the money for some new ones. What does it take to get some new ones cut?
Why did he call you? Hoping you kept a set for "Sentimental reasons"? LOL
I would guess the dealer knows how to get a set,, you won't need to help them get some. (I don't think you can "Cut" these kinds of keys anyway, (barrel type)
They will need to send the VIN off to HD and they will send them a new set if I understand correctly.

He can get from MOCO or another dealer that has them in stock with the bikes VIN#. Don't ask Me how I know.
Not quite sure why he called you but they should atleast have the key codes to order set or pull it from the VIN. Hell I ordered a keyed lock for my tourpak I installed on my SG last year and the lock at two new keys with 20% discount was less than $20.00 I actually thought that was a great deal and also got two extra keys for my bike.
$22.00 retail for Two keys from the moco. Dude just trying not to pony up after who knows who lost it. Sounds like he was the one being charged for replacing it, so it cost him a dime and some dignity already. Locksmiths can cut you a new one for six to eight bucks if you have one to copy.
