Default Will I need it remapped?

I have a 2006 RK Custom. It is stock except for a Power Commander and Rhinehart True Duals. My question is if I remove the mufflers that are on it and put Samson straight pipe fish tails on it will I have to get it remapped?

Thanks

check the power commander website. They may have a map for your combo you can download and try.

If you don't also have an aftermarket air filter you don't even need the power commander....

Get a hi-flow intake and remap.

If you already have the Power Commander, why not dial this change in.

If you opened up the exhaust you should have opened up the intake also. They work together. You can essentially get more out but you aren't really taking any more in so you don't need any more out. You basically only changed the sound. So you may want to check the PC website for a map, but the current map will probably be fine just not the most capable. I and most everyone else would advise adding a high flow intake. Then with a good map you should notice a difference in performance. BTW I am right below you in Lancaster. Good riding.

Yes, but first open up the intake and feel the power of your changes after it's remapped.
