Picked up a used Sportster, a yr ago, that the dealer had had for six months. Every day they had run the motor for no more than one minute to bring the bike out of the back to the front of the store. When I picked the bike up I asked for, and got an extra four quarts of oil cause I expected the condensation problem. The next day when I drained the oil from the cold engine, at least 8 oz of clear water came out of the drain tube before any oil. Granted, this is extreme cause the bike had been started 100+ times without ever warming the engine but condensation does occur.

I had my bike dyno'd mid winter. I rode it 15 miles in cold weather to the tuner. Ran it in the garage a few times prior.
My breathers are routed thru a tube to the bottom of the frame.
After a few dyno pulls I almost pannicked when I saw a silver dollar sized puddle underneath the bike. Turned out to be water that came out of my breather tube. Condenstion is real!
After talking to him this morning about it, I think it's just condensation from him just starting it a few times this winter and the rest of the time just sitting all winter. He was a little freaked out when he called last night but when I talked to him today, he said it was probably a couple of table spoons of water in there. He's got about 1000 miles left before his oil is due to be changed. I told him to just ride the bike until next oil change now that the weather is warming up and it will probably burn it all off by next oil change.

Amazing sheet there! You would think, they would take out Bike #1, leave the Bike ON, go get Bike #2, leave that one ON, and get the rest of them, then when your done with the last Bike, you start to sequentially shut down all the Bikes. Sheesh.
I am glad my Bike is Garaged!

That wouldn't be long enough. You really need to get out there and ride for a while (or leave the motor off til spring). It takes a while to burn it off.
