We have the comfort stitch on our RK Classic. I like the added lower back support and my wife loves the back seat. It was the widest rear pillion of the Harley seat line-up. That's why we went with it. We're both happy.
I've got a Sundowner. Combined with highway pegs and the drivers backrest, I can do hundreds of miles in a day, nooooo problem. Longest jaunt so far was 450 miles and I could have easily gone another tank....easy.
My push to replace the stock seat on my RK Classic was based on the wife's seat-to-*** width ratio...
The stock seat was much to narrow so I stayed with what had worked for me in the past. On my Heritage we had purchased a Mustang seat and it was great. So, for the RK I ordered another Mustang seat with the removable rider backrest along with the removable rear seat. Her seat is 13.5" wide and beats the stock seat hands down. Last weekend we put 220 miles on the bike and everything was good. So far I have 2,200 miles on the scooter in 2 months and couldn't be more comfortable or happy with the seat.
Stock is junk
Mustang good seat, but puts you closer to the tank and up
Sundowner IMHO worse then Stock, but does put you back and up
Corbin Dual Tour, The one labelled for up to 05's do not fit as well on the 06's...I had both and 06' Corbin fits the bike and me better.
Good Luck..

i have the sundowner but because i am 5'5 i put the stock seat back on because the SD although more comfortable put my legs out wider which gave me a not so stable feeling at traffic lights when my wife was on board
I have the mustang seat on mine. Got it from Benjys (auth mustang dealer), call and talk to Jenni at 304-523-1340
The mustang has a large passenger section, haven't seen one larger, it's also nice and thick.
The HD Sundowner is well worth checking out. More lower back support than stock and it sits you in the bike a little more rather than on it. Gives a good feeling and a rider backrest is worth considering too.
