I took it around the block and gave it back in a cold sweat. It was ridiculous. He sold the bike, no one could really ride it, and I don't know what happened after that.
I did not take it as that and I was sincere in thanking you for your input. I don't want people thinking all they need are some raked trees and they are in. This is something that should be studied and weighed pros and cons before jumping into it.

Like I said I'll report back when done and road tested.

I got the bike back and it rides and handles really good with the tri glide set up with no need for a damper. The only difference I have noticed is that before the slow speed steering was a little heavy with the 21" wheel and now it is much lighter and feels better in that area I like it.
The look is not as rad as the cut neck job, but you can sure tell it has been raked and it looks really good. I don't have a picture right now (weather has been crap) but I'll try and get some today.
I rode down the hwy at 70 mph and let the bars go (with caution) and it tracked true and straight as good or maybe better that stock. I am very pleased with this set up.

How much rake does the Tri-glide trees add anyway? I've been kicking around this idea too lately. And of course, we need pics, lol.
Thanks for the info!
