I ended up getting this done 13 thousand miles ago, but forgot about this thread. I used the Harley trike trees and under fairing apron, or whatever its called. I initally tried to make this bike a fugly but could not make the speedo housing work with the trees.

Using the trike trees with a 21 inch wheel do you have to lower the front end at all to keep the bike level or will the rake itself take care of it?

Getting ready to do this myself with a 21 on my '07 FLHX. From all the information I've gathered it does not need to be lowered with a 21, but needs a 1" drop for a 23.
