Wow, I have been looking at the color options on the 07 Roadglide, I was amazed at how crappy their colors were, the pewter silver looks like grey primer, the black pearl looks terrible too. So today I went to a dealer and took a up close look, Man the Pewter is awesome, almost like metalflake, very silver and very shiny not at all like the website, I do say the black pearl looks almost dark green in the sunlight, the denim blue is kool its not as flat as I thought it kinda glows, so if your looking, dont use the website to decide on a color
I don't know about the denim color. The wife and I went to the stealer the other day and saw an 07 RK sitting out and it was the denim blue. I didn't think much of it. I guess it's a matter of preference.
For what I knonw, these "looks flat" colors are the very up to date appearances in design. I can't say if its a nice idea, but I'm sure we will see more and more things wearing that kind of paint (helmets, MP3, cars, ...)
Can't say if HD are great in their new colors, no 07 here before the end of august
The black background (at least I think I remember it being black!) made it hard to judge the colors on the website. Saw them in person in Sacramento Friday night for a charity run there and they did look a lot better.
Saw a couple flat finishes in Virginia City on my way home that looked kind of cool - not sure I'd change what I have now, but maybe my next bike (someday)...
a computer can't give the rich color that you see in person. The new 07 silver really "pops" in person. I thought the 06's wer a little flat but like mentioned earlier, the 07's have a high gloss and metallic glitter to them. Sharp!
I will second seeing in person is a better evaluation. I didnt like the green and black Ultra I saw up close no offense to anyone the owns/ or likes it.
I was wanting to see the Suede Blue in person because it looked good on the site. Looked even better in person. So far I have seen a Road King Custom with it and an Ultra two-tone with black as the second color.
