I picked mine up the week before Christmas, and just hit 6,000 miles on it. I haven't made any performance mods yet. I did put on windshield bags, drivers backrest,, shorty antennas, highway pegs, a heated seat and replaced the stock speakers with Hog tunes.
The past few days are the first I've been riding with the temps above 60 degrees. I will tell you that the cats get a little hot, especially after running 80+ miles an hour for 100 miles, then hitting bumper to bumper traffic.
I just can't make up my mind what pipes/mufflers/ac/tuner to use. 100's of opinions on the forums. It's almost TOO much info!!

Rider's backrest, shorter windshield, highway pegs, and push button for the gas cap. I got the bike in January and I'm in NY so I haven't experienced any heat issues yet. I may change the exhaust but haven't decided yet.
