I hope you become as fond of your 2010 Electra Glaide as I am mine.

I'm very fond of my "09 Ultra. I was a little hesitant at first but my younger brother told me to "embrace" the new technology. I decided to and am not looking back. ( I do however have a 91 FLHS sitting next to the Ultra. Super E, Cammed out , Rineharts, 140,000 miles, Reman about 15,000 miles ago. Just in case.....

introduced in the 08 model year, and continues in use with newer bikes. it's great. the easy way if you don't believe it, do you have throttle cables near the right grip? you don't have them it's now got a stepper motor and throttle position sensor. pretty hi tech compared to what went before. the cruise control is seamless too.

Show me just 1 "CONFIRMED" case of unintended acceleration...especially on a Harley with throttle by wire.

+1 on the Cruise Control. It's amazing how smooth it integrates with the TBW. An absolute pleasure to use.

My TBW may be one of them. No matter where I am, it seems as though I am getting hauled around at 10-20 over the speed limit. I don't intend for it to be that way. I gave up fighting it. I just sit back and enjoy.

"Unintended Acceleration" on a Harley. Isn't that an oxymoron? LOL!

TBW has been used on various vehicles since the 1970's, it's hardly "new" technology.
I won't even get into the whole Toyota witch hunt, suffice to say, it's a good system and is easily overridden. As said, just pull your clutch in and stop.
