Default The "OTHER" J&M speaker

Looking to inexpensively upgrade the sound on my 04 Electraglide. Did not want to drop $300 & an amp. So I was looking at these, and just wondering what I could expect. Would the sound improve enough to be worth it? Or are there other options. Let me know & thanks

I have installed the 7.25" couple weekends back. Unfortunately I have only logged about 60 miles since, but they were a great 60 miles! I did not install an amp and had no problems hearing the tunes at 70ish mph. As for the ones on your link, they look to have the same grill with mid and tweet. Most would agree these are the notes you will hear more at the higher speeds, so I would assume you will be very happy with them. I considered those, but had already seen (and wanted) in person the 7.25" set up at the local VTwin show.

Those are a huge improvement over stock. You'll get an equally impressive improvement over those by going to the 7.25" (or even the 6.5 Titan's that I'm currently using) but they do cost a bit more. If you can swing it go for the largest speaker - you'll never regret it.

I installed the stock size J&M's and it was a great upgrade over the stockers, went with the 3-ways.No complaints here and were over 100 bucks cheaper than the 7.25.
