I had to mod my heat shield but it looks and works good.

I bought the old 12 way adjustable QA setup on a closeout from Arnott. It was around $750 with the gauge and the handlebar grip actuator options. I normally ride between 40 and 60 psi. I mounted my air gauge on on the inner fairing just to the right of the right side mirror. The gauge is a little ugly, but it is much easier to read there than down by your leg.

Yes you can ride with no air in the system....on my bike with stock wheel/tire combo. It's not real comfortable but you can ride so its nice to know if you got a leak you can still ride home. Now with your wheel/tire combo & lowering blocks...??? All you can do is call Arnott & tell'em what you got...see what they say.

I tried the Arnott system along with 3 others. If I had to choose one I would choose the Arnott. I had the Alden which is adjustable while the Bilstein is not. Don't worry you are not missing much. All the systems I tried offer a stiffer ride than stock.
At least with the Arnott, it comes with a money back guarantee. So, if you are not happy you can return it. (I'm not sure if it applies to dealer purchases). I ended up going back to my stock 13" and using the lowering blocks. I did however stay with the compressor (I spoil easy) and installed a gauge. The gauge really helps when adjusting for a passenger.

This is good to know. I am looking into the return policy if bought through a dealer. Thanks Tom.

A friend of mind just dropped the front and rear 2" on his RG. It rides like crap in my opinion. He used the Burly kit. I can get discounted pricing on the Arnott too. Pm me and I'll send you a price.

It is stiffer than stock, but if you are looking for ride height adjustability then the alden is a pretty good deal.

Default Arnott Shocks

I had the Arnott/Blistein set up. This one has the 12 point adjustment feature. At the time it went for 1000.00. Having the bike really low in the garage to move around or back up was great. The problem was the ride even pumped up was crap. I had progressive 412's on there before and the Arnott's were never even as good as they were IMO. I tried each adjustment position at least twice annd tried different PSI settings and it still rode stiff. I had the manufacturers 30 day money back promise so back they went. For 1000.00 they had to ride a whole lot better.
