Black and chrome will never go out of style Graphics and colors may become "dated". Didn't build my bike to be stylish, built what I like. Plan on riding it till one of us wears out.
Fads are things that go out of style eventually, damn near nothing done (correctly) on a Harley is gonna go out of style. I would agree that in five years, there will be newer mods to do, but the lowered, stretched bagged, big wheel baggers will still look great!
Here's the problem, do you think it's a trendy "fad" kinda thing or will it last?
Remember when everyone was slammin' their pick up trucks to the ground, where'd they go?
I not making a comparison to the slammed trucks and this style bike, just thinking about fads.
Like I said, I dig the look, just wondering.....5 years from now, will they still be "in"?
Its a fad, just about everything is, look at clothing, hair cuts, When i first started building cars, mulitple colors was the norm on pro street builds, now it looks like a damn rainbow, and i couldnt believe id even paint a car red and yellow...lol
Even if it is a fad all you have to do is wait long enough and it comes back. Look at mini skirts and bell bottom's. I mean really look at mini skirts.
Slammed trucks, cars, hot rod's, etc. are still in vogue around here. I didn't know they ever went out of fashion.
not a fad. personal taste. those slammed trucks are still around. still have mine
they might have been a fad for you.
+1 on the slammed trucks. Still working on the scoot. Have dropped it 1.5 inches in the rear and planning a lowered fender for the front and streched bags and fender for the rear.
those slammed trucks are still around. still have mine
Again, just an observation......I live in Vegas, which believe it or not is a pretty "trendy" town....slammed trucks are very few & far between around here.
Now everyone has 'em up in the air with 22" wheels & you can tell they never see the dirt....go figure.
