I'm glad to hear you are well enough to share your tale. No one ever dresses for the ride, you should always dress for the crash and you will always be better prepared. It's a good thing you were.
WOW, you turned out better than my buddy that was only doing about 35 when some guy on the cell pulled right out in front of him. Glad you're OK.
Leo, you crack me up!
Glad it turned out the way it did and you are OK. It is a definite reminder for me to check the bike before going on a ride even though it sounds like you had done that. What kind of tire was that on the front of your bike?
Insurance will buy you a new helmet as a matter of standard practice. Don't even bother with the old one.
Glad to hear your praises to the Father in saving you..
God is amazing and works to the benefit of those who believe.
You have unexplainable, yet undeniable proof of that forever more.
Use it well and be a light unto others.
sorry to hear about your wreck - glad you're "ok" though - looks like we're all a little curious about that tire sale though - keep us posted if anything pans out - it may serve as a lesson to all. Now get back out there and keep the rubber down!
First of all thank God you made it without serious injury! Went down last July at about 50 mph. T-Shirt, no jacket or gloves, did have helmet and good boots. Learned the importance of gear that day, and have worn it ever since. If it takes more than one brush with road rash to teach someone, they're a tougher s.o.b. than me!
I sure am glad that you are still around to write this. The man upstairs is definatly watching over you.
One of my biggest fears is, not the going down part, but the traffic around you that cannot stop or manuver quick enough to avoid you.
Daym I am glad you came out of this!!
