I'm shopping for new wheels, or at least a front one, for a Road King Classic.
I like the look of fat, radial laced wheels - the tubeless kind.
I'd love to see some pics of different ones on touring bikes.
Personally, I want to keep my wide whitewalls.
Post some pics, tell the size, make of wheel, & brand of tire you used as well.
Here ya go. DNA Mammoth Diamond Cut Spokes 18" tubeless with Pirelli Night Dragon Tires and yes, tubeless. I've run the Fat Daddy 50's on another bike but these are also excellent quality wise and very reasonably priced. Got them on ebay a while back for $850. Love yer tag lol!
Those look great!
Did you get them from KCInt?
Did you buy the rotors from them too?
Thanks, no actually bought them from a dealer on ebay and got a better deal than KC was offering and yes, got the rotors too. Next up is finishing up the blackout project which will be in the next five weeks or so. Front end goes on Saturday and the exhaust goes out for powder coating within the next few weeks and I'm done... yeah RIGHT! Here's my photoshop version ;-)
Know that if you wish to keep a white wall you will need to get a 21x3 and a 90/21 whitewall for it. No one makes a white wall in a 120/21. Just a suggestion, before buying DNA from a dealer off ebay you might want to search as there have been quite a few threads about DNA's and bad internet dealers recently. I'd offer to sell you one but no longer deal with DNA.
