If you want the BEST Halogen headlight bulb upgrade....SILVERSTAR is the REAL deal. A major difference at a decent price....very WHITE & really lights up the ROAD![sm=icon_sneaky.gif]
Tried the Silverstars in my passing lamps and they do put out some great light. However, the road signs glare back at you and the deer blend in with the background.
I run an HID headlamp and PIAA Ino Crystal 55W/85W in my passing lamps. The HID keeps the bright white on the road where it belongs and the Ion Crystals light up everything else; without the glare and they pull the deer out of their background.
I ride in deer country and need to be watchful. The Silverstars just don't do it for me. But I do agree they are bright!

Are the stock passing lamps sealed beams? If so what would you need to do to put Silverstars in the passing lamps? And part #'s for both headlamps and passings lamps would be a big help. Thanks, Bert
