Removing custom grip... how to remove left grip.

I bought my 09 SG with the willie G grips already installed. Anyone got any tips for removing the left grip which should have been glued on?

Usually you can twist it really hard and break the glue loose. Clean all the old glue off before going back with new grips. Good luck.

Try to work compressed air in there while turning. Also try to work WD40 in there. This is why I use electrical tape on bars. Mine fit nice and tight, but can be removed easier than glue

I wrapped mine with a shop towel and twisted slightly with channel lock piers. I was able to re use them when switching handlebars.

If you mean the Willie G Skull grips, they are the glue-less design. Just take apart the switch housing and the grip will slide off.

Hope you didn't mangle them already.
