I have those same emblems on my turquoise and cream Road King Classic.

I put mine a little lower on the tank than I think you put yours though. I put mine right on the dividing pin stripe between the two colors.

Default Looks great

I have a decal on my 09 Road King that looks like crap. I would really like to remove it and install an emblem like you did but it looks like the decal has clear coat over it. If I get the tank painted I'll definitely do what you did.

Thanks!

Did you have to bend the emblems to get them to conform to the tank? Looks nice! I've oft thought of doing that.

Nope, they are already pre-formed to fit the contours of the tank.

Where did you buy the emblems? Is it a harley part I can get from the stealer? How much did they set you back? I know I ask a lot of questions, sorry.

Very nice - especially on a Road King! They just look right on that bike!
You did a great job positioning them too......
Your next step - flexible pipe for the exhaust. With your nostalgic air filter cover, your on your way to replicating the old FL's of the 60's.

Looks great. The originator of this thread put these on an '04 RK. Does anyone know if these fit the '08 ~ '10 RK/RKC model 6 gallon tanks?
