I've been using Bugs-B_Gone on my truck and it works great for removing them. Spray it on the dry surface, leave it set for a min, and rinse with water. The stuff is water activated somehow.
Looks like I'm going the Pledge route for the bike though. I like the thought of the wipes and a quick cleanup.
A 50 / 50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water will dissolve the bug guts,
wings, and skeletal remains from your faring and windshield.
Never Dull will clean their remains from your chrome.......
Then wipe with Pledge for that fresh lemony scent
This works great, the 50/50 solution....as for Pledge that will work...I really like the Honda spray wax, not expensive and works well.
I found Mother Syn-tec wax is very good too, but the Honda spray travels with me....

Peroxide works great and is cheap. The bug remains literally fix up and wipe right off. Don't mix a lot at a time though or it loses it's potency.
I like Bugslide. A little pricy but i cleaned my entire bike 6 times with the travel bottle before i got the 16oz size at $20. Local shop carries it now. I like the fact that you don't have to keep wiping to clear up the residue.

don't get the honda stuff anymore. they have changed the formulation due to epa and it doesn't work near as good.
the good news is the old formula is still available, only under another name. 'the original spray cleaner and polish' by amrep. thats what you're looking for.
