Default Chicago HD or LSHD

Who better to order from? Which one is more realiable. Took another short trip this weekend and decided Im going to get a tourpak. Also should I go with the 4 pt docking hardware or get the anderson tourpak relocation kit since I already have the 2 point. This is for my 08 streetglide. Thanx.

With how I have been treated when I call in and the speed of the shipping I have recieved from LSHD1.com I will only do business with them for my online ordering in the future. Most stuff I receive in under a week and the tourpack I ordered on the 28th of Feb I received today which I think for painted parts is a very reasonable time.

But to each his own.

No help with the relocation, but I've had good luck both places too. I prefer LSHD personally for better communication, but I've always gotten what I ordered in a reasonable amount of time especially considering the $$$ I've saved.

Like some on here, I've asked the local dealers if they want to match or come close and they all decline. Oh well...

I've found that Zanotti's had the best pricing when I checked, they seem to work on a cost + basis rather than a straight % discount, that means the higher the mark-up the bigger the discount, usually make more difference on stock parts than accessories. Their customer service is good & you can check to see if they have items in stock & you can check on status of back ordered parts right on their website. Don't know the tourpak kit you mentioned, but Milwaukee Baggers has a nice tourpak mount that uses the 2 point docking hdwe, it's a little pricy, but if you figure in the saving on buying the mounting hdwe it's not too bad, looks much better. It seems like somebody else makes one, try doing a search on tourpak mounts & you might find some others.

I'll comment.....

From personal experience, LSHD has shipped my stuff faster than anyone else.

If they say they have it, they do, and it gets shipped.

LSHD. 20% no tax and free shipping. The parts I've ordered from them have not been instock, but its only taken LSHD about 14 days from order to delievery

I've had great experience with both, but I've only ordered stuff from Chicago Harley. I've in house shopped at both though. I live by both of the stores.

I ordered a number of parts from Chicago and have no issues. I have not used LSHD. The turnaround time for the orders is reasonable, one to two days. Several parts went backorder to HD, but the same goes with the HD dealer in town I do biz with.

I have the 4 point system and it works good. The clamps lock down the backrest solid on the bike. I went with the king tour pak when I bought my 2009 SG last June. My tour pak came without the tail/brake light kit and antenna wiring. If the light kit and antenna wiring is something you want, maybe your supplier can install them as part of the order and may save you a few $'s.

I've ordered from Zanotti's, LSHD, Chicago's and New Roc. I can't say I've had a bad experience from any of them. Sorry if that's no help to you.
