Call PM tech service and see what they say. That is who I always talk to about RSD stuff as they are basically the same company. Ooops, I did not read the entire thread until now. Well hopefully they will do the right thing. I mean you are going to pay shipping both ways. They should pay that gladly. Drew
Thanks Drew.
Dr. VTWIN, man can't say enough good about you guys. Bought alot of stuff from ya.
Always, always up and up. Great doin' business with ya.
Capt. Mike
Not PM or RSD but I have had one deal with Renagade, long story short 2 rotors (1 fixed 1 floating) and 2 hubs later it ended up being the WHEEL center was not parallel.
But unfortuneatly even with 4000 worth of wheels and rotors this guys bike was down almost 4 months.
Let me know if you need me to step in and try to help you. We have a very good and strong relationship with our PM rep. I can either email or call him and see if can also do anything to speed things along.
Let PM and RSD, know that you are looking for "feedback" on the forums, and that there are other members expressing concerns about products from these companys., believe me, sometimes when these companies know that you are airing their "dirty laundry" out on the forums, they are real quick to all of a sudden want to make things right. these forums are a very powerful tool at times! Good luck, hope it works out for ya.
If you have to wait for new rotors but ya gotta ride also stick the stockers on and go. That's what I had to do while they figured out what to do. I failed to say in my first post that I had 2 sets do this, the first set took about 4000 miles to warp and the second set was only about about 2 weeks. I figured out the problem when I asked the mech that had installed them on my bike in the first place how much TQ to put on the bolts and he said like 80 lbs then when I opened the new chrome HD bolt kit it said in the insructions 40 lbs . I never had another problem with rotors on that bike in 20,000 plus miles after that.
Sometimes tight is to tight. One more thing, the mech told me to use red locktite and the ins called for blue because I had a hell of a time getting the old bolts out of the wheel, that's why I had to get new bolts in the first place.
BTW that mech Never touches my bike now Ever.
Thanks folks.
They know it's on the forum. Just hope they do the right thing and replace em, if not I'll move on with lesson learned.
***** in their court.
Thanks again to all.
I just spoke with our PM rep and he said Ms. Kelly is actually the right and best person to have on the matter. I expressed concern about rotors warping after that many miles as well. They know we are on the case as well. Let's hope that helps. I guess it can't hurt.
Thanks!
Shawn

there are too too many companies out there that really dont have ANY customer service skills and this really kills me! I have always been the type of buyer that if your service stinks you will not get anymore of my money, and I will be sure to share my dis-satisfaction to everyone I know, and believe me I have with my local dealership, but the companies that provide good customer service, will continue to get my money, and I will happily send it to them! You would think in this economy people would be bending over backwards for us as customers but it just doesnt happen! Hey Captn Mike I hope this works out for, and since I"m in the market for wheels and was looking at PM, I cant wait to hear what happens and that will determine which way I go... Thanks and good luck!
